Description:
The addition of Bradenton Fire Station #2, the second of two new fire stations and apparatus, will provide our City with a modern fire station, ensuring swift emergency response times for medical and fire/rescue calls, enhanced firefighter safety, and improved rescue capabilities for our residents.
Design and Construction:
The design architects on this project are from Fawley Bryant Architects, and the construction manager is Willis Smith Construction.
Key Highlights of Fire Station #2:
  • A central location to facilitate rapid response times to eastern and southern parts of the City and I-75 area.
  • Drive-through bays to expedite responses to the southern end of the City and improve turnout safety procedures.
  • Additional equipment and training space for first responders, and support services during severe weather emergencies.
  • Modern equipment, including backup power systems and other resilience features, to support preparedness protocols to ensure continuity of service during emergencies and natural disasters.
