To report a problem such as a street light outage, a water leak, a sewer backup or a pothole, we invite you to use our PublicStuff reporting system. Or if you prefer, you can report an issue by calling our office at (941) 708-6300.
The after-hours emergency (non-billing) number for Public Works emergencies is (941) 708-6300. Calls placed to the Public Works & Utilities Department after hours will be transferred to the answering service, who will contact appropriate "on-call" personnel to have emergencies addressed.

If you have large, bulk items to be picked up, please call the Solid Waste Division BEFORE you place the items out for pickup. Please call us at (941) 708-6340 to schedule a bulk-item pickup.
