Call the City of Bradenton Code Enforcement at (941) 932-9485 immediately upon spotting a tree removal or the excessive pruning of a tree. The complaint can be anonymous. Before removing a tree within the City of Bradenton, please contact the Planning & Zoning Department at 941-932-9400 to check if a permit is needed, so as to avoid getting a fine of up to $5,000. A valid reason is needed for tree removal. City residents who have excessively pruned trees may be subject to fines. Excessive pruning has ruined many beautiful Sabal palms.
