Description: | ||
The City will be soliciting bids to install approximately 2,500 feet of storm sewer pipe, 600 feet of under-drain swale, 30 new manholes, and construction of a new 20,000 square foot retention pond on 8th Ave E. The project also includes roadway resurfacing and replacement of curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, and driveway aprons.
Purpose: | ||
The Eastside Bradenton area has historically faced flooding challenges, and the existing 10th Ave E pond is occasionally overburdened, leading to high water levels and road closures after major storm events. This infrastructure project will upgrade the retention, treatment, and conveyance ability of the existing drainage system to protect against flooding.
