Contractor Registration

The City of Bradenton Planning and Community Development Department requires all contractors wishing to do business within the City limits to be registered with the Building Department.

Contractor Licensing ensures only qualified contractors perform construction work in the City of Bradenton. Florida law requires contractors to be licensed. Hiring an unlicensed contractor is a violation of Florida Statute 455.228 and is subject to a fine of up to $5,000.
All city and registered contractors are required to pay a fee of $75 for registration and renewal. For additional requirements, see Contractor Registration Form below. **All trade subcontractors must be licensed and registered with the City of Bradenton.
