Independence Day Closures & Celebration

INDEPENDENCE DAY IN THE CITY OF BRADENTON
City of Bradenton Government offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2024, to commemorate Independence Day. 


On Thursday, July 4, 2024, Bradenton Alive’s Independence Day Celebration kicks off at 3:00 p.m. with live music, food vendors, merchants and a Jeep meet along the Bradenton Riverwalk. Live music performances by Emmit Stevens, Jr., (country) and 22N (rock and pop) will be staged at the Bradenton Riverwalk Pavilion, located at 452 3rd Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34205.

Live Music Lineup:
Emmet Stevens Jr (country): Nashville recording star performing from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
22N - The Ultimate Party Band (rock and pop): Rocking the stage from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The Manatee River fireworks show will be visible on both sides of the Manatee River. Zambelli Fireworks will light up the night sky, beginning around 9:00 p.m., with pyrotechnics show lasting approximately 25 minutes launching from the Green Bridge Fishing Pier.

 

NO RESIDENTIAL GARBAGE AND/OR YARD WASTE COLLECTION 

On Thursday, July 4th due to the 4th of July Holiday. Residential garbage and yard waste will be as follows:    

  • Monday’s collection normal schedule
  • Tuesday’s collection normal schedule
  • Wednesday’s collection normal schedule
  • Thursday’s collection will be collected on Friday, July 5th 
  • Friday’s collection will be collected on Saturday, July 6th
