BRADENTON, FL – Due to ongoing issues with misuse and contamination of recyclable materials, the City of Bradenton will no longer offer self-service recycling drop-off at G.T. Bray Park (5502 33rd Ave Dr. W.) beginning February 7, 2025. Residents who previously used this location are encouraged to visit one of the six other recycling drop-off sites available throughout the city.

Reminder: Proper Recycling Guidelines

The City’s remaining recycling sites are for City of Bradenton residential recycling only. To help ensure recyclables are processed properly:

  • All items must be placed inside the containers.
  • Cardboard must be clean, broken down, or flattened before being recycled.
  • Plastic bags, Styrofoam, and household garbage are not accepted in recycling containers and will contaminate clean recycling.

We appreciate the community’s commitment to responsible recycling and encourage residents to continue using the available drop-off sites to help keep Bradenton clean and sustainable.
