City of Bradenton Urges Immediate Water Conservation Following Hurricane Helene

BRADENTON, FL – The City of Bradenton is urgently asking all residents to conserve water for the next 24-48 hours. Storm surge from Hurricane Helene has severely strained our water treatment systems, and it is critical that water use be minimized to ensure resources are managed effectively during recovery efforts.

Residents are asked to immediately reduce water consumption by:

  • Postponing washing laundry and dishwashing.
  • Taking shorter showers.
  • Turning off water while brushing teeth or shaving.
  • Refraining from watering lawns.

The City is working around the clock to restore all essential services and deeply appreciates the community’s cooperation in this critical time.
