Ward Four - Lisa Gonzalez Moore
Lisa Gonzalez Moore, a local real estate and business attorney, is serving her first term as the City Council representative for Ward Four. Councilwoman Moore has been a resident of Manatee County for over 20 years and a resident of Ward 4 for over 12 years.
She grew up in Tampa, Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida, where she earned a Political Science degree and also her Juris Doctor.
Councilwoman Moore has served the community as a board member for Legal Aid of Manasota and has served in leadership roles for numerous legal industry and local non-profits, including the Manatee County Library Foundation board, the Bishop Museum Gala planning committee, and she also served on the team that assisted Rowlett Academy in its transition from a district elementary school to a charter school and in the expansion of its campus.
The Councilwoman currently serves as Past President and Treasurer for the Manatee Florida Association for Women Lawyers and as the Real Estate Section Chair for the Manatee County Bar Association. She is also a board member for The Magic of Mittens, a local non-profit organization that provides food and gift assistance to families in need in several Manatee County public schools during the holiday season.
Councilwoman Moore and her husband have been married for 23 years, and they have four children.
